Adjacent to Château Rayas' coveted Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard is a plot of 80-100-year-old Grenache and Syrah vines organically-farmed by the Charrier family.
This predominantly Grenache cuvée displays charming and complex aromas of garrigue, ripe cherries and raspberries. It's lush and creamy in texture, having been vinified and aged in concrete; the tannins are soft, giving it a full, rich mouthfeel and a delicate finish that still retains a sense of power. Complex aromas of mature fruits and dried rose; a structured and silky wine. Drink now or cellar for many more years.
