Ampodium brings together Syrah from numerous parcels across Cote-Rotie, offering a beautifully complete expression of the appellation. Black cherry, blackberry and red plum are layered with violets, cracked pepper, black olive and subtle smoked herbs. The palate is concentrated yet wonderfully poised, with fine, persistent tannins and a stony, graphite-like mineral thread bringing freshness and precision.
