ex-HMAS Brisbane Wreck Double Dive Trip (Includes Tanks & Weight)

Dive one of the worlds best wreck sites, the Ex-HMAS Brisbane, a decommissioned guided missile destroyer.

Just cruising around the outside, its sheer size makes it an awesome sight. You are likely to see schools of Yellow Tail Kingfish, Trevally, Jewfish, Bat Fish and Red emperor. You are also likely to see octopus, rays, lionfish, crayfish, groupers, anemones, and thousands of bait fish. The whole wreck is covered with over 300 species of hard and soft corals.

Discover the depths of her hull, enter the engine room or even visit the control room where her kill switches are still intact.

The vessel now serves as a world-class artificial reef and diving site. She has attracted divers from all over the world. Sitting upright the Ex-HMAS Brisbane has 15 metres of water over her forward decks and 18 metres over her stern.

WHERE:

• Meet at Scuba World, 207 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba at 7.00am
  
• Boats Departs around 8.00am and returns around 12.00pm

PRICE INCLUDES:

• Tanks & weights (If needed from Scubaworld)

EACH DIVER REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

• Dive Computer
• Surface Marker Buoy – safety sausage
• Whistle
• Torch

EACH DIVER MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Open Water Certified
• Dived within the last 12 months
• Dived from a boat
• Dived to a depth of at least 15 metres (logged experience)
