Key Active Ingredients & Benefits
Organic Ethanol |
For a sanitiser to be effective against micro-organisms it must contain an alcohol content of between 60-80%. ishga sanitiser contains 78% ethanol so it is highly effective at breaking down the fatty lipid bilayer that holds a virus together effectively destroying the virus. ishga sanitiser is also highly effective against bacteria and fungus. |
Fucus Serratus Seaweed Extract |
Contains natural skin Antioxidants known as Polyphenols which repairs damaged skin and protects against environmental damage. Great for counteracting the damage caused by constant hand washing. |
ishga Spring Water |
This pure spring water is rich in minerals and trace elements and has a calming effect on the skin. |
Glycerine |
A humectant that draws more moisture to itself. It also helps slow down the evaporation of water from the skin, which helps keep skin moist and hydrated. |
Lemongrass essential oil |
Has been shown to possess antifungal activity against yeasts, moulds and dermatophytes as well as showing antiviral activity against a number of viruses. In scientific tests it was found to coat certain viruses making them unable to bind to the host cell. |
Rose Geranium essential oil |
Has strong antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. The food industry even uses rose geranium oil as a natural preservative in some food products. In a number of scientific studies rose geranium was shown to reduce bacterial, fungi, and viruses that can cause disease and infections. |
Lavender essential oil |
Lavender has been heralded for centuries as the ‘Mother of all Essential Oils‘ due to its antibacterial, anti-fungal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Grown and used for centuries and used as a traditional herbal medicine to ward off germs and encourage healing, there is mention of Lavender being used as far back as the ancient Egyptians, for mummification and perfume. |
Juniper Berry essential oil |
The essential oil of juniper has been experimentally documented to have antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activities. Recent studies have also found anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, hypoglycaemic and hypolipidemic effects. |
