Brew a pot of our lavender rose Earl Grey on a slow Sunday morning and you'll taste bold black tea and bergamot, softened by rose and a gentle floral finish. It's a loose leaf blend of black tea with Italian bergamot, dried rose petals and dried lavender. The lavender is Lavandula angustifolia 'Pacific Blue', a culinary English lavender we grow on our farm in Newstead, Waikato, just for the kitchen. Serve it black or with a splash of milk, and pair it with shortbread for afternoon tea.
