Product Details
Peak Girls Energy 3/2mm GB Back Zip Steamer Wetsuit is one of the best-priced wetsuits in the entire market. Peak, being famous for their unrivalled value for money, have outdone themselves with their new line of Glued and Blind Stitched [GBS] 3/2mm steamers. Learn why sealing is so important here. High-quality neoprene and a glued sealed seam make this suit exceptionally warm underneath and on top of the water.
Peak typically make surfing suits but because of the sealed seam and dense neoprene, we often recommend this suit for an entry-level cold water diving suit. It all depends on your own personal tolerance to the cold but one could comfortably surf in this down to Sydney and dive from the Central Coast north to the reef.
As for surfing, you'll most likely be warm along the entire east coast, it's when you get to the Bight that the cold really bites. If you have this suit and you're starting to get a bit cold we recommend a thermal top or gloves and boots as the most cost-effective way to get additional warmth out of your current wetsuit.
Peak's long history as a major player in the surfing wetsuit realm has resulted in a fine-tuned fit that you won't find in a suit anywhere near this price. The fact they're made by Rip Curl is probably worth noting!

Peak Girls Energy 3/2mm GB Back Zip Steamer Wetsuit Features:
- 3/2mm thickness: By laying thinner neoprene in the high-stretch zones and thicker neoprene in the others Peak have optimised the suit for warmth and flexibility. 1mm might not seam like much but by laying 2mm in the sleeves Peak have made the paddle action roughly 33% less strenuous than if they used just 3mm.
- High-quality Neoprene: Stretchy, durable soft and warm.
- Smoothie Skin Torso: The coated chest and back panels act to repel water from the area surrounding your vital organs. This greatly reduces the effect of wind chill on your core.
- Glued and Blind Stitched [GBS] Seams: By using a hooked needle each stitch doesn't penetrate the rubber, this means water can't move into the suit through the stitch. This is reinforced with glue which adds to the water-seal. Get the full rundown on seams.
- Long Sleeves: Great for wind chill and keeping your upper body warm!
- Back Zip entry: Simple and easy to wear, extra long pull-tab! Learn about zips!
